Seeking A Creative Penpal Swapper

I would like to have a penpal to correspond with via online, snail mail and swap boxes.  I would like to have such a person to do this with from the US due to high shipping rates International.

If you live outside of the United States and still would like to swap; we could swap whatever we can stuff in an envelope.  For example; miniature books, miniature paintings, miniature doll clothes, etc..

I am interested in doll collecting (miniature dolls)... I have 9 miniature American Girl dolls that I will be building a dollhouse for, soon.  I have some Victorian dollhouse family dolls.  I have some miniature dolls custom made from Scotland; Annie, Ms. Flanigan and two orphans.  I have five Gene Marshall dolls.  I started out with Gene Marshall dolls and then realized that I could have more dolls if I collected in miniature.  With my dollhouse hobby interest; I thought future dollhouse creations would be the perfect way to display my growing collections.  OH!!!  I also collect Calico Critters!!!  I love them!  I love them!  I really love them!!!!!!!!  My son bought me the Hedgehog family for Christmas 2015!  The child inside of me bounced all over the place:)  I have wanted the Hedgehog family for a few years and was so surprised to open up a gift and see them smiling up at me.  I have the Hopscotch family with the little babies.  Currently they live in the Orphanage Project Dollhouse.  If someone buys that dollhouse; I will build another.

I like to practice on the Orchid dollhouse kits.  I sold the dollhouse that I was working on; when I started this blog, Christmas 2014 on EBay.  The Orchid dollhouse that I am currently working on; the maintenance man saw it when he was working on my apartment and told me that he wanted to buy it for his daughter when I am finished working on it.  After I finish this current dollhouse project; I will start on my dream dollhouse; the Beacon Hill!  That is where my miniature AG dolls will live.

I have been practicing on the Orchid dollhouse kit; over and over for three years.  I am in the process of finishing up an Orchid dollhouse now.  I will be posting photos of start to finish of the assembly, soon.

Things I am interested in receiving in a swap box:

1.)   Miniature clothes for my miniature American Girl dolls.  I have started sewing for them; experimenting with resizing patterns.  What I came up with; I posted on the blog and as I do more, I will get better.  I am practicing on an old white sheet and when I feel more comfortable with what I create for the dolls to wear; I will sew fashions from tasteful materials, laces, ribbons, etc..  I love historical, Victorian.  I am interested in my future dollhouse village being historical looking.

2.)  Miniatures for the dollhouses; homemade or store bought.

3.)  Crafting supplies... scrapbooking paper to use for Wallpaper; prefer small prints to match Victorian Themes.  Glue. Acrylic paints.  Art brushes.  Material/thread/ribbon/lace to sew tiny dresses for the mini AG Dolls.  Patterns for the little outfits and miniatures if you have any to share.  Anything that you can think of that goes with this hobby interest.  I enjoy working with polymer clay; creating miniatures for the dollhouse.  I love miniatures and I love Hobby Lobby Stores!

4.)  Foodies:  I love Dark Chocolate, cookies, jellies, etc.  I love cappuccino. I like healthy foods, sunflower seeds, etc..

I like snail mail, correspondence via email/blog, etc..  I am an artistic creative type of person.  I like to get creative; artistic with my snail mail.

I dream in miniature;

The five miniature AG doll dresses

Here are some photos of some my miniature American Girl dolls modeling what I created for them these last two days. This is a new part of my hobby that I think I'm going to enjoy a lot in the future. I have not sewed doll clothes since I was a kid. Back then they were all hand sewn because I was too Little to work a sewing machine. I didn't think that I could so anything for my little dolls and surprise myself. I took one piece of an 18 inch dolls pattern that I saw online and work from that modifying it to fit my miniature doll and adding my ideas to it.

January 9, 2016 Working on New Projects.

I have not been here in a while; I wasn't sure if I would be able to find my blog or not.  And then noticed that all my info was saved to my laptop computer so I didn't have to worry about passwords or etc. My memory is terrible and I have no idea what my login name is or password.  Ha ha ha.. that is just the way that I am.

The dollhouse project that I was working on in this blog; I did sell it on EBay last Christmas 2014.  I was surprised that it sold.  I didn't think that I was good enough to sell anything and my son encouraged me to try it on EBay.  I was touched by how many kind messages that I received about my creation.

The Dollhouse that I sold Christmas 2014 on EBay

I will be posting some images of the current dollhouse that I am working on as well as some miniature dresses that I sewed for my miniature AG Dolls.
